Everyday urban Kannada freely folds English vocabulary into a Kannada sentence frame, a blend speakers jokingly call Kanglish. The grammar stays Kannada; the nouns and adjectives often arrive in English.
This is strongest in Bengaluru, India’s tech capital, where switching between Kannada and English mid-sentence is completely normal.
