A wardrobe is the British word for a tall box where you hang clothes.
A wardrobe is a big, tall piece of furniture. You hang your clothes inside it. It has a door. British people say wardrobe. American people often say closet. But there is a small difference. A wardrobe is furniture you can move. An American closet is built into the wall of the room. So if you learn British English, you put your shirts in the wardrobe, not the closet.
In the clip, a person talks about a bedroom. They say you need a wardrobe. This is normal British English. They also use other British words for the home, like cupboards in the kitchen.
