What is the Amsterdam “Concertgebouw”?
Het Concertgebouw (“The Concert Hall”) is one of the world’s most acoustically-praised concert venues and a Dutch national institution since 1888. The neoclassical building on Amsterdam’s Museumplein houses the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), routinely listed among the world’s top three orchestras.
