What does “짝사랑” mean in Korean?
짝사랑 is the Korean word for a crush that only goes one way — you love someone, but they don’t love you back, and often don’t even know. It’s built from 짝 (“one of a pair, a match”) plus 사랑 (“love”), so it literally describes love that’s missing its other half.
