Word for word, ¿qué más? means “what else?” — but in Colombia it is a warm, everyday greeting that means “what’s up?” or “how are you?” You can answer it just like ¿cómo estás?, for example muy bien, ¿y tú? (“very good, and you?”). It works in person, on the phone, or by text.
