What does “concedersi” mean in Italian?
Concedersi is the reflexive of concedere (to grant) and means to allow or treat yourself to something — to indulge, guilt-permitted. “Concediti un gelato” is treat yourself to an ice cream; “concedersi una pausa” is to let yourself take a break.
