Bài thi nghe Staatsexamen NT2 Programma II (Luisteren) kiểm tra tiếng Hà Lan ở trình độ B2, với khoảng 40 câu hỏi trắc nghiệm về các đoạn ghi âm thật. Mỗi đoạn chỉ phát một lần.

Từ một giáo viên tiếng Hà Lan
Nên chuẩn bị cho bài thi nghe NT2 Programma II thế nào?
Programma II có cấu trúc giống hệt Programma I. Luisteren kéo dài 90 phút với khoảng 40 câu hỏi trên 5 đoạn bài nghe trở lên, mỗi câu có 3 hoặc 4 đáp án và chỉ một đáp án đúng. Có khoảng 25 giây để đọc câu hỏi trước khi đoạn nghe bắt đầu, 1 đến 3 đoạn là video ngắn, và mọi thứ chỉ phát một lần. Điều thay đổi là tiếng Hà Lan. Ở trình độ B2, người nói tranh luận một quan điểm và diễn đạt ít trực tiếp hơn nhiều.
Vì vậy, điều đầu tiên cần biết là bạn có thực sự ở trình độ B2 hay chỉ đang thoải mái ở B1. Làm một đề thi thử chính thức miễn phí cho Programma II trước khi đăng ký thi. Việc này không tốn gì cả, và là một phép thử đáng tin hơn nhiều so với cảm giác “sẵn sàng” của bạn.
Theo dõi lập luận, không phải từng từ
Ở trình độ B2, câu hỏi hiếm khi là bạn nghe được từ nào. Câu hỏi thật sự là người này nghĩ gì, và vì sao. Người nói xây dựng lập luận: đây là điều gì đó sai, và đây là điều nên xảy ra. Nếu bạn theo được mạch lập luận đó, bạn có thể bỏ lỡ vài từ mà vẫn trả lời đúng câu hỏi.
Vậy nên khi luyện tập, hãy dừng video sau một phút và nói to xem người nói đang lập luận điều gì, muốn gì. Nếu không nói được, nghe lại để bắt từng từ cũng không cứu vãn được.
Học những từ khiến câu nói đổi hướng
Người nói ở trình độ B2 thường đổi hướng ý liên tục, và những từ nhỏ chính là tín hiệu dẫn đường. Hãy luyện tai với maar (“nhưng”), toch (“vẫn”), hoewel (“dù”), daarentegen (“mặt khác”), sterker nog (“thậm chí còn hơn thế”) và kortom (“tóm lại”). Những từ này báo hiệu sắp có một sự tương phản, hoặc phần tóm tắt bạn cần sắp xuất hiện.
Điều này quan trọng vì đáp án sai thường là điều người nói thực sự đã nói, ngay trước khi họ xoay chiều và nói điều ngược lại.
Chú ý cách người Hà Lan giảm nhẹ ý kiến
Người Hà Lan thường tránh nói không một cách thẳng thừng. Thay vào đó, họ hay dùng nou ja (“ừ thì”), op zich (“về bản chất”), in principe (“về nguyên tắc”) hoặc eigenlijk (“thật ra”). Trong một đoạn ghi âm B2, những từ nhỏ đó lại mang ý kiến thật sự. Khi ai đó nói op zich is het een goed plan, maar..., họ không nghĩ đó là một kế hoạch tốt đâu.
Vậy nên hãy nghe cả giọng điệu, không chỉ từ ngữ. Cảm xúc của người nói về điều họ đang mô tả cũng là thứ bài thi có thể hỏi.
Luyện với một đoạn dài, thay vì năm đoạn ngắn
Các đoạn nghe trong Programma II dài hơn và chứa nhiều thông tin hơn, nên hãy luyện tập theo hướng đó. Chọn một bài phỏng vấn hoặc một tin tức dài vài phút và chia nhỏ thành từng đoạn khoảng 30 giây. Nghe không xem chữ và nói lại những gì hiểu được, nghe lại một lần nữa, rồi mới đọc bản ghi lời thoại hoặc phụ đề.
Làm bài tập này tối đa 30 phút, rồi dừng lại và nghỉ ngơi. Nghe tập trung như vậy khá mệt, và chính sự tập trung đó là thứ bạn đang luyện.
Bạn chỉ nghe một lần, nên hãy xác định trước điều mình cần nghe
Sẽ không có lần nghe thứ hai, và điều đó thay đổi cách bạn dùng 25 giây trước mỗi đoạn. Đọc câu hỏi và các phương án trả lời, rồi xác định bạn đang tìm điều gì: một ý kiến, một lý do, một con số, hay sự khác biệt giữa hai người. Chỉ tập trung nghe đúng điều đó và đừng lo về phần còn lại.
Và nếu bỏ lỡ một câu, hãy bỏ qua và chuẩn bị cho đoạn tiếp theo. Cố đuổi theo câu trả lời đã trôi qua chính là cách khiến bạn mất luôn cả những câu sau đó.
Hai điều sẽ giúp bạn vượt qua kỳ thi này. Một là đôi tai đã quen với tiếng Hà Lan ở tốc độ bình thường, có được bằng cách xem tiếng Hà Lan thật gần như mỗi ngày. Hai là thói quen tự hỏi người này đang muốn nói gì, có được bằng cách làm trọn vẹn các đề thi thử. Veel succes!

Vì sao mọi người thi NT2 Programma II?
Mọi người thường cần tiếng Hà Lan ở trình độ B2 cho:
Học tại hogeschool (hbo) hoặc đại học, nơi yêu cầu trình độ tiếng Hà Lan B2
Làm việc ở bậc hbo hoặc bậc đại học, kể cả đăng ký BIG cho điều dưỡng được đào tạo ở bậc hbo
Quốc tịch Hà Lan (nhập tịch), trong đó bằng NT2 ở trình độ B1 hoặc B2 được công nhận

Bài thi nghe trình độ B2 trông như thế nào?
Bài thi nghe (Luisteren) kéo dài 90 phút trên máy tính, có đeo tai nghe. Có khoảng 40 câu hỏi trắc nghiệm về năm đoạn ghi âm trở lên. Định dạng giống nhau giữa Programma I và II, chỉ khác nhau ở trình độ tiếng Hà Lan. Đây là những gì bạn sẽ nghe:
Đoạn audio
Các bản ghi thật ngắn về tình huống trong công việc, trong chương trình học và trong đời sống hằng ngày: hội thoại, hướng dẫn, báo cáo và bài nói.
Một lần
Đoạn video
Một đến ba đoạn là video ngắn (filmpjes), mỗi đoạn có một câu hỏi. Phần còn lại chỉ có audio.
Một lần
Bạn có khoảng 25 giây để đọc mỗi câu hỏi và ba đáp án. Sau đó đoạn ghi âm tự động bắt đầu, và bạn chỉ nghe một lần. Không có phát lại.
Các đoạn ghi âm là thật, nên có nhiều giọng nói khác nhau, lỡ lời, lặp từ, và đôi khi có tiếng ồn nền. Người nói có thể có giọng vùng miền, nhưng không phải là phương ngữ.
Bạn không được dùng từ điển trong phần Luisteren, và mỗi câu hỏi chỉ có đúng một đáp án.
Trình độ và từ vựng
Cần trình độ nào và bao nhiêu từ vựng?
Nghe cần ít từ vựng hơn nhiều so với đọc. Nghiên cứu cho thấy khoảng 3.000 từ thông dụng đã chiếm khoảng 95% lời nói bình thường, và 1.000 từ đầu tiên chiếm phần lớn những gì người ta nói.
Ở trình độ B2, từ vựng thiếu hiếm khi là điều cản trở bạn. Tốc độ mới là vấn đề, cùng với việc bạn chỉ nghe được mỗi đoạn một lần. Video giúp ích vì hình ảnh cho bạn biết đoạn đó nói về điều gì trong khi tai bạn vẫn đang bắt kịp.

Nên luyện nghe NT2 Programma II bằng loại video nào?
Nghe tiếng Hà Lan thật của Hà Lan, nói ở tốc độ bình thường của người bản ngữ, nơi ai đó giải thích một chủ đề hoặc mọi người nêu ý kiến. Chọn các chủ đề công việc, học tập và đời sống hằng ngày mà kỳ thi sử dụng, như lịch sử và văn hóa, xã hội và thời sự, công việc, gia đình, sức khỏe and truyền thông. Bạn không cần từ hiếm. Khoảng 3.000 từ thông dụng đã chiếm phần lớn lời nói hằng ngày (Nation 2006), nên nội dung dùng từ giao tiếp thông dụng nhất sẽ sát với đề thi. Một sự kết hợp tốt là bản tin, phỏng vấn và video giải thích rõ ràng, vì bài thi dùng các đoạn thật ngắn kiểu này. Đó chính xác là cách gói 98 video miễn phí ở trên được xây dựng.
Bài nghe NT2 phát một lần hay hai lần?
Một lần. Mỗi đoạn chỉ phát một lần và tự động bắt đầu, không có nút phát lại. Bạn có khoảng 25 giây để đọc câu hỏi và các đáp án trước khi đoạn nghe bắt đầu. Một số bài thi khác, như Goethe và DELF, phát lại một phần audio, nên nhiều người đến với kỳ vọng có cơ hội thứ hai. Ở đây thì không, vì vậy luyện nghe mà không tạm dừng hay tua lại sẽ rất hữu ích.
Tôi có cần đỗ Programma I trước khi thi Programma II không?
Không. Đây là hai kỳ thi riêng biệt, và có thể thi thẳng Programma II. Hãy chọn theo mục tiêu, không phải theo thứ tự: Programma I (B1) phù hợp với chương trình học mbo và công việc ở cấp mbo-3 hoặc mbo-4, còn Programma II (B2) phù hợp với học hbo, đại học và công việc ở cấp đó. Nếu mục tiêu cần B2, thi Programma I chỉ là đường vòng, không phải bước bắt buộc.
NT2 Programma II có đủ để làm việc trong ngành y tế Hà Lan không?
Còn tùy vào ngành nghề của bạn. Với điều dưỡng được đào tạo ở trình độ hbo, đăng ký BIG yêu cầu tiếng Hà Lan trình độ B2, và NT2 Programma II là cách phổ biến để chứng minh điều đó. Với điều dưỡng được đào tạo ở trình độ mbo, yêu cầu là B1, tức là Programma I. Với bác sĩ, yêu cầu cao hơn: B2 cộng thêm tiếng Hà Lan y khoa, thường gọi là B2+, nên chỉ Programma II thôi là chưa đủ.
NT2 Programma II có được tính cho việc nhập tịch Hà Lan không?
Có. Để nhập tịch, bạn cần đỗ inburgeringsexamen ở trình độ A2, hoặc staatsexamen NT2 ở trình độ B1 hay B2. Bằng Programma II được tính, và nó chứng minh trình độ tiếng Hà Lan cao hơn nhiều so với mức tối thiểu, điều này cũng có ích cho việc học tập và làm việc sau này.
Kỳ thi Staatsexamen NT2 có giá bao nhiêu?
Mỗi phần thi có phí 50 €, nên một chương trình đầy đủ bốn phần (Lezen, Luisteren, Schrijven, Spreken) có phí 200 €. Mức phí này giống nhau cho cả Programma I và II. Bạn có thể thi và thi lại từng phần riêng, nên nếu một phần không đạt, bạn chỉ cần trả phí lại cho phần đó.
Có thể ôn thi miễn phí không?
Có. Cách luyện tập miễn phí giống đề thi thật nhất là môi trường luyện tập NT2 chính thức (oefenomgeving), với đề thi mẫu cho cả bốn phần của hai chương trình. Nó hoạt động tốt nhất trên máy tính, không phải điện thoại. Sau đó, điều tốt nhất bạn có thể làm miễn phí là nghe thật nhiều tiếng Hà Lan thật ở đúng trình độ.
